Harry & Co. on LJ: a sequel
Because Pirate and PJ asked for this, and I can’t say “no” to either of them. With thanks to Flora, who came up with Bellatrix’s and Lucius’s LJ styles.
Harry Potter: was elected the new mod of the Gryffindor Commons Room comm at the end of his first year, after he helped his House to clinch the cup, but was forced to surrender the position during his fourth year. Has not yet figured out how to use cut tags, and the capslocks, THEY ARE HEAVY. Has 500 “friends of” and has friended them all back. Including Rita Skeeter’s sockpuppet. Is mystified as to how the Prophet seems to know everything that goes on in his private life.
Ron Weasley: has about 30 “friends of,” but doesn’t much care. Mostly uses his journal to post in Quidditch comms, and to flame supporters of the Harpies.
Hermione Granger: has an LJ, and (as is expected in her House) friends back every Gryffindor who friends her. But she filters her posts so as to facilitate discussions that include only the best-educated and enlightened members of her flist; most of the Gryffindor common room is simply hopeless. Spends a great deal of time writing new articles for Wikipedia, and editing other entries for accuracy. Started a comm,elf_rights, but to date is its only member (although she forced Harry and Ron to watch it). Would love to download music from audiography, but is worried that this might be unethical and illegal.
Draco Malfoy: Mod of the Slytherin Common Room comm, he is very selective about whom he friends. Loves to leave anonymous comments in journals where setting permit this. Would love to be friended bypotionsprince, who leaves such hilariously cutting comments in others’ journals, but potionsprince hasn’t friended anyone, so far. His father wants him to become co-maintainer of the main DE comm after he leaves Hogwarts, but Draco isn’t so sure he’s up for that.
Fred and George Weasley: are not only very, very well known to LJ Abuse, but have had at least five journals deleted by the Abuse Team. But they always make another.
Minerva McGonagall: uses her journal for keeping up with old friends and family members only. All entries are f’locked. Fred and George have not yet given up hope of someday tricking her into friending one of their sockpuppets. Minerva is not that gullible, however.
Bellatrix Lestrange hard-codes blood-red fonts in 6 point, right-aligned, randomly-broken-into-varying-length lines which she says shows up FINE on her pitch-black layout; publicly throws a fit any time anyone defriends her because they can't make any sense of a damn thing she says.
Lucius Malfoy: posts highly-complimentary (actually, effusive and gushy) recs of ALL of Voldemort's fic and meta, even when it's still anon; no one can quite tell whether he's honestly JUST THAT IMPRESSED or he's sucking up. Goes about pushing people into participating in Voldie's fests and telling everyone LOLSNAKES are fetch.
Voldemort: his quest to have LOLSNAKES replace LOLCATS has proven fruitless, but he still persists. Has recently switched to a horcrux mood theme.
