Wow. I've been nominated for something.

Quill To Parchment is an HP awards site, currently inviting nominations. And they have a nominations category I've never seen before: for Best Beta.

That's unusual. And touching. And actually, I find it is gratifying to be nominated for that, because (in my own heart of hearts) I think I'm a much better beta than I am or ever can be, as a writer.

And pir8fancier nominated me in the most flattering terms possible. I'm blushing.

Anyway, I wanted to draw your attention to the site, so you could nominate others; I'm going to do so, too. And also to point out the pleasing novelty of an awards competition that included Best Beta as a category.
