bethbethbeth posted today, updating her "shameless hints for birthday fic" list, and reminding us that it's not a bad idea to keep such a thing linked to one's userid page. She got the idea from Resonant, who pointed out that it might be useful to know someone's fandoms, preferred characters, and squicks/kinks---linked on the person's userid page--for those who might want to write for them.

She's right, I think. Although my own birthday will be upon us so soon that no one (who wasn't already planning to do this, I think) has time to write up anything for me this year, even if she were so inclined. But it might be useful for anyone writing for me in any sort of fic exchange in the future (quite apart from birthdays, I mean). I'd have loved to have had access to such a post for the person I wrote my Smutmas story for this year, for example. It would have given me useful information that fleshed out the exchange request, because I really do like to write something that pleases my recipient.

So, my own "wish list" is under the cut. Template for this (and some text) has been brazenly lifted from Beth's post, since I cannot improve on how she phrased some things.
